Welcome to the Porr's Collection blog! If you've never heard of us before.. we are a small independent jewellery, clothing and accessories company with stores in Knutsford and Chester. The majority of the jewellery and clothing is designed by the owner and lovingly handmade, and the pieces are usually one of a kind.
Much of the jewellery is made from natural and semi-precious stones such as Quartz, Agate, Howlite, Coral and Onyx. Porr's also have an extensive range of classic and contemporary pearl jewellery. From classic stud earrings to the more recent object of desire - the 'Fireball' pearl, and plenty in between, Porr's Collection shows there's more to pearls than a twinset.
Fireball pearls are freshwater bead-nucleated, oversized baroques and represent the new era of pearl culturing. They are a large cultured pearl with a tail twist and each one is unique; although cultured, no Fireball Pearl is the same as the end result is down to the activity of the oyster, and no man can direct that!
