Retro Room & 2good2Btrue @ the Vintage Bizarre (Part 2)

2good2Btrue had it's own stall, and the second fashion show at the Vintage Bizarre, with all jewellery, accessories and pre-loved clothing for just £1!

Three of our models became human 2good2Btrue jewellery mannequins, much to the amusement of the crowd!

Hannah modeled a blouse and skirt from the £1 pre-loved clothing range..

and we had a few more outfits modeled too, love these prints.

We can't believe it was a month ago already, time flies!

Retro Room & 2good2Btrue @ the Vintage Bizarre (Part 1)

It's been a very busy month for Retro Room & 2good2Btrue! In addition to having a Christmas market stall in Manchester, and our three shops open, last weekend we were at the Vintage Bizarre at Event City near the Trafford Centre, with two stalls, five models and two half-hour catwalk shows!

The compere for the event was Kiki Deville, who some of you may recognise if you watch The Voice. Kiki certainly does have a stunning voice and she treated us to a few songs between the catwalk shows. She also loves retro and vintage, so she loved our stalls, especially the crystal brooches and statement Porr's Collection necklaces!

Our first catwalk show was for Retro Room with gorgeous premium vintage dresses and statement Porr's Collection jewellery...

For the next look, the girls were dressed all in black to really make the jewellery stand out. Effective isn't it..!

Next we had some more summery looks including some of our floaty kaftans..

and some more beautiful dresses..

..and that was the end of the show!

Steal Her Style - Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

It's been a while since our last Steal Her Style post! Now even if you're not a fan of the X Factor you've probably seen pictures of Cheryl and Mel B frequently on the newsstand over the last few weeks. The nation loves a good style battle and both ladies have been rocking some gorgeous looks recently.

Our favourite look so far has been Cheryl's Hollywood Glamour retro look which was for the Movie week theme, a stunning floor-length black dress and dripping with diamonds!

Retro Room @ Knutsford Loves Fashion

October 8th 2014 was an exciting day for Retro Room! We took part in the Knutsford Loves Fashion event at Curzon Cinema on Toft Road, with four beautiful models - Jennifer, Hannah, Deena and Lauren. The make-up was done professionally by the fabulous Lynette Page who has a make-up bar on Minshull Street, a few doors up from our shop!

Here's Lynette at work on Jen, and we love how amazing she looks in a Retro Room vintage purple & gold top. You have good taste Lynette. ;o)

In the afternoon we headed off for a catwalk rehearsal...

and took a few photos outside in the remaining daylight.

Don't our girls look stunning? We tried our best to stay true to each individual's sense of style but with a retro twist. The vintage blue fox fur coats are available to purchase from our Knutsford shop @ £115 each.

Back to the event... and thankfully the catwalk show went without a hitch! Peter Murray from POP Perfumery on Princess Street was the compere for the evening.
